Yaara Valley is an American ambient/drone artist who has caught our attention with her recently released, purely pleasurable track entitled "May We".
There is a lot of interesting stuff going on in this five-minute-long piece of ambient music. If you listen closely, you can even hear mysterious clicking noises and water dripping in the background of the massive, but not muddy soundscape that Yaara Valley creates, using a combination of atmospheric electronic elements and something that sounds like creepy deranged choir vocals. One could argue that the song captures a sound that could remind you of something from outer space. That can be both unsettling and almost a bit terrifying, but at the same time it can be mysterious and extremely interesting.
I’m left feeling intrigued, amazed and excited to hear what Yaara Valley has to offer in the future. Give it a listen:
