Tomas Wilhelm is a British pianist who's wonderfully soothing and elegant "Nærhart (close-hearted)" we are delighted to share with you today.
Contemplative but in a manner that's all but burdening, the composition rests on richly written chords which are then completed with a catchy and simple repetitive melodic bit. The pianist throws in beautiful minor-to-major resolutions, as well as a second movement, reminding me somewhat of my favorite living pianist Hideyuki Hashimoto.
