Nothing compliments a movie scene filled with anticipation better than a piece of dramatic piano. Stephen Caulfield's ''Make The Call'' is a solo piano piece that does in fact put the listener at the turning point of the events.
While the leading theme remains light and non-provocative, as if reminiscing of the easier days not too far behind, the intercepting elaboration on the lower end of the keyboard rings warnings and imminent danger. While the very nature of the danger at the destination remains unknown, the journey towards it is filled with nerve but also a dose of naivety, as if denying the evident change of winds about to happen.
