Ribeiro DiCastro "John's Dream": Pleasant melancholy.

We present the work of the remarkable neoclassical composer Ribeiro DiCastro and his composition "John's Dream".

"Composition is the creation of memories in motion, generating subjective and affective experiences. Each viewer feels differently, but there is always room for a collective encounter. And that's what's fascinating about music - its powerful, non-linear capacity for communication.’ Fluctuating territorial boundaries in a continuous transformation that does not fit into paper, reason or words. Music is generic, timeless. It is eternal becoming."

The melody of "John's Dream" has a slight flavour of melancholy and light sadness. The melody has a leisurely, moderate rhythm and a wonderful set of chords and notes that combine to paint such a beautiful musical picture. Arthur has undoubtedly put his own meaning into the composition, but each listener will find their own.
