Near The Parenthesis is an American project having recently released a groovy, urban piece of chill electronica with elements of neoclassical entitled ''Second''.
Taking off on a simple piano melody and distant drones it is almost evident from the start that this won't be another piece of neoclassical piano swinging on rubatos, crescendos and what have you. Rightfully so, the piano is soon joined by a minimalist drum-machine beat, turning the composition into an urban serenade ideal for waiting the minutes down at a metro station. Groovy and undemanding, the track continues it's course almost uninterrupted, crisp with it's well produced bass and synth otherwise.
