Lou Kun is a Chinese pianist and composer, who with his latest composition “The Tree of Autumn”, has caught our attention.
Lou Kun himself states that the song is composed and produced for a movie that allegedly describe the love between parents and their children. A statement that, to me, makes a whole lot of sense after some listens. The song is essentially a calm piano piece, and an interesting one of those. The melodies and chord progressions are equally devastating and beautiful, and with the way Lou Kun treats his instrument, the piano itself seem to almost have the emotional potency of a relationship between parent and child.
A piano piece that truly lives up to the composers own statement about it. Check it Out: https://open.spotify.com/track/3Gi2jtuchktZ68h20n6WbD?si=G9CON7xjQ5ODrsuSd_vIyg
