Inspired by a lullaby and named after a sunflower that grows natively in Ireland, American-based artist Jean-Marc Le Doux presents “Irish Eyes,” a song for an Irish sweetheart whose favourite flower is a sunflower.
What begins as a piano melody morphs into something more as new sounds are introduced. The piece is grand and emotional, sweet and stunning.
