Here is a fresh release by musician, composer and producer Gustav Davidsson from Sweden called "Luftskog".
In his compositions Davidsson combines the influence of neoclassical and ambient music with improvisation and the smooth sound of jazz. His work is quite exceptional and is a truly unique and enjoyable listening experience. He currently plays trombone actively and is involved in many projects, one of which is his ongoing work with the Trio Ramberget group.
The composition "Luftskog" is a truly airy musical walk where the trombone and keyboards seem to have a dialogue filled with tenderness and fluidity. The sounds of the synthesiser accompanied by the trombone create an atmosphere of calm and harmony. The trombone with its velvety timbre sounds soft and enveloping, giving the composition a special charm. The composition has subtle dynamics: each note balances between improvisation and precise melody, giving the listener a complete immersion in the world of jazz and relaxation.
