Just how I miss Italy, oh but how I do! Even when I come across its culture in the Northern contrast of Europe, I can not be but taken away but its natural, effortless charm. There's something to South, perhaps the better visibility of the night sky, that over the course of history produced an endless catalogue of magnificent works of art.
Right into that catalogue falls this recent release by Dario Crisman, who stole our hearts right out of our unprepared chests with a solo piano piece entitled "So Long So Late". Written with an admirable attention to detail, the song serenades emotions of all kinds - from loss to acceptance and everything in-between.
Truly an amazing performance that marks Italy one time over as a mine of neoclassical gems, listen up above.
