Recorded live, as implied by the last of the crowd applauding at the start, the composition is as complex as it is approachable. Finely refined with a deep knowledge of jazz, the music is played with ease and delight, allowing the crowd to enjoy the listening as much as the pianist enjoys the playing. Dynamic and delightful, the arrangement features a few pop elements, as if to comfort the less advanced member in the audience - a clever move.
